Julie Bell
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Julie is responsible for designing and implementing human capital strategies while driving efficient HR operations to ensure business continuity and compliance. Her role encompasses talent acquisition, diversity and veteran recruiting, on-boarding, total rewards, payroll, HR operations, HRIS, talent development, performance management, succession planning, career planning, employee relations, compliance, and immigration services.
Julie began her career in the health care industry with Ascension Health as an Organizational Effectiveness leader. In her multiple HR and Transformation leadership roles at large global companies including Chrysler, Goodyear, and the Cleveland Clinic, she has built and delivered robust talent management strategies, implemented HRIS strategies to create capacity, and transformed HR organizations. She is certified in Lean principles and achieved a Six Sigma Green Belt level.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in both Business Administration and Psychology from Siena Heights University and a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
Julie currently sits on the board of MAGMA and is a member of the Executive Advisory Council for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Michigan. She is active in charitable organizations that provide care and shelter for women, children, and animals.
